Pastor's Anniversary

Pastor's Anniversary is the second Sunday in June. This is Pastor Dwight Cockerham's 17th year of service. We look forward to having a glorious time in the Lord as we partake in one service at 11:00am to celebrate his service and dedication to Mt Tabor!


Birthdays

If you'd like to have your Birthday announced, please see a member of the Tech team or the Deacon Board.


Mother's Day

On Sunday, May 12, 2024 we will have special presentations for Mothers.




Father's Day On Sunday, June 16th, we will have a few special presentations for our Father's.



Electronic Payments

If you don't already know... Mt Tabor has a CashApp.



Choir Robes

All members of the choirs not practicing nor singing in the choir return all robes to the church. Return them to Sister Sharon White or Deacon Willie Hartsfield the choir's advisor. This request is for all robes to be returned on or before the fourth Sunday in November. Thank you!






The Association had its Moderator Election in November. Our Pastor, Dwight Cockerham was elected Moderator for the upcoming 10-year term..



Sunday School

Sunday School is Back in Session- 9:30am, Every Sunday




We have adult and children Sunday School books available, pls see Pastor Cockerham, Minister Calhoun, or one of our Deacons for a book. Our new (July August September) books are available.


Wednesday Night Bible Study

Bible study is always held on Wednesdays at 5:00 p.m. we will be continuing our series on the epistle to the Galatians.



Choir and Ushers for our 11:00am services

All volunteer choir- people from various choirs come together to form one choir.

All ushers, please volunteer and rotate, as we need at least 2 volunteers each Sunday.

Deacon/ Pastor Meeting will be on the last Tuesday of the month at 5:00pm.

Church Conference is on the last Thursday of the month at 6:00pm.


Our Bereaved Families

We continue to pray for the families in our church family who have had members to leave this world. We carry their memories in our hearts, even now and pray that God continue to comfort those who remain.

We are still diligently seeking full-time musicians.

If you know someone who is qualified, please share their name and contact information with Pastor Cockerham or any one of our Deacons.
